ROSA is an epic sci-fi short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. From the destruction awakes Rosa, a cyborg deployed from the Kernel project, mankind's last attempt to restore the earth's ecosystem. Rosa will soon learn that she is not the only entity that has awakened and must fight for her survival.

Update - ROSA was seen by the producers at Fox's Genre Films label, and they have decided to give Orellana not only the funding to see his full vision realized, but is giving him the helm. He created the short in his free time on his own computer as a pitch for a live-action feature film idea. It now seems to be happening, but with this former comic artists skills in animation, why not make the entire film CG? Then again mature animated films still scare studios.
