A real treat this week,
City in the Sea (1965) also released as
War-Gods of the Deep is a period adventure story of immortal sailors living in a mysterious lost city beneath the sea. The title comes from an Edgar Alan Poe story, and elements of the film were an attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the Roger Corman adaptations of Poe. Like those adaptations, this film also stars one of my favorite genre actors, Vincent Price! So here it is for your cult film fan viewing pleasure.
