Spring in Chosun

As the bitter winds and rain clouds break, the cold silence of winter wanes, giving breath to new life. As I journeyed once again to Seoul a few weeks past, it was the beginning of spring. The birds were chasing each other in twitterpated aerial dances and pollen was freshly prevalent in the air. With Claritin flooding through my veins and the excitement of new discovery before me, I wandered the grounds of ancient palaces. Thousand year old cultures came to startling life beneath the breath-taking bloom of the sakura trees.
